Activities
Hazen enjoys hiking, running, and playing pick-up baseball. His favorite workouts are those he can do outside, breathing in the fresh air while spending time with friends.
Experience
While attending UC Berkeley, Hazen worked as an Emergency Medical Technician (EMT) for Royal Ambulance. He is a licensed EMT and has volunteered for the Berkeley Medical Reserve Corps.
Education
Hazen graduated in 2024 from the University of California, Berkeley, with a degree in Molecular and Cellular Biology.
Motivation
Hazen is motivated by a desire to bridge the gap between scientific discovery and practical application, particularly in healthcare. He aims to make a tangible difference in patients' lives. His experiences in both research and patient care drive him to pursue a career that integrates these fields to improve medical outcomes and advance therapeutic innovation.
Leisure Time
Hazen enjoys playing guitar, reading books, collecting vinyl records, and cooking. Nothing makes him happier than making a cup of hot cocoa and reading an old novel. His favorite authors include Michael Crichton, Caleb Carr, and Blake Crouch.
Future Goals
Hazen plans to attend medical school and earn his doctorate. He hopes to work as a physician at a teaching hospital to help instruct the next generations of doctors.
