Carissa enjoys hiking trails, bicycling, and kayaking with her family. They love to go anywhere they can get fresh air and enjoy the nature.

Graduate of Cabrillo College’s Medical Assisting Program - 2021
Associate of Science Degree in Health Science and Community Health - 2019
Experience
After graduating Cabrillo’s Medical Assisting Program, she worked at OrthoNorcal, an orthopedic practice in Capitola. In October 2021, she earned her Certified Medical Assistant credentials through the American Medical Assistant Association.
Motivation
Carissa’s family motivates her to be the best possible version of herself. She’s also motivated to help others and provide excellent care to all she encounters.
Leisure Time
She loves spending enjoying family time at the beach, finding good food, and visiting museums—her favorites include the SF Exploratorium, Monterey Bay Aquarium, and California Academy of Sciences.
Future Goals
She plans on returning to school for her Bachelor of Science in Nursing.
