Trauma & Injury
We're Dedicated to You Getting Your Life Back as Quickly as Possible
Whether you have a sprained ankle or a fractured toe, our goal at FDFAC is to make sure your injury heals properly and you are able to return to your normal activities as quickly as possible.
Your time is valuable to us, which is why we have everything needed on-site to quickly and accurately diagnose and monitor your injury.
We utilize an in-office digital x-ray to immediately assess bone fractures and joint dislocations. And soft tissue injures such as plantar fasciitis and Achilles tendinitis can be quickly diagnosed with our in-office ultrasound. Having these important services on-site eliminates the need for you to have to go to another facility to have these services performed and interpreted. Sending you elsewhere for diagnostic services is not only inconvenient, but can potentially delay time-critical treatments necessary for your recovery.
If we suspect cartilage or ligamentous injury, which isn’t clearly visible on x-ray or ultrasound, we will be able to schedule you for MRI imaging within 1-2 days. Our clinical partners make MRI and CT scans available online for expedited access and review – typically within 24 hours.
Should you apply ice or heat for an ankle sprain? How much time should you take off from your sport after injury? Is Motrin good to take after an injury, or is Tylenol better? How about taping? How about massage?
There’s a lot of misinformation out there when it comes to the best way to treat and rehabilitate sports injuries. At FDFAC, we take the guesswork out of the process. We will give you very specific do’s and don’ts, based on the latest scientific research in sports injuries. We will clearly identify when you can safely return to your sport -- and what you can and can’t do in the meantime. And, when you do return to your sport, we’ll be with you every step of the way. Telling you to “just give up running” (or whatever sport you love), because of an injury or “incompatible” alignment, is not something you will ever hear us say.
At FDFAC, we understand how important your physical health is to your emotional health, and we're committed to doing everything we can to get you back into the game as quickly as possible
If you have sustained trauma or injury, call now for an immediate appointment. FDFAC will quickly get you back to your game.
At FDFAC, you don’t have to be an elite athlete to receive the same level of exceptional treatment and care. Our team is committed to partnering with you, and to getting you back to the activities you love ASAP.
Life happens. Don’t wait.
