FDFAC has always been open and up-front with ethical billing and transparency on non-covered costs. Now we're taking it a step further, being the first to publish our billing codes listing the self-pay (non-benefit), prices. Your policy may have a capped or contracted rate, which may be different than the self-pay rate. We have always honored the contract that we have with your insurance company. Other practitioners may have you sign a waiver, allowing them to charge above and beyond their agreement. We never have and never will.
